September Backpacking - Deep Creek

The troop backpacked into a secluded location and setup tents and hammocks to spend the night.  Some completed the remaining requirements to earn their cooking merit badge.  We even saw the northern lights while sitting around the campfire.

These guys are awesome. Slept in snow caves, took 2nd in the Skills and 3rd in the Speed to win a dutch oven and some treats!
