February Campout (Zarahemla part II)

 

 

January 2015 - Camp Zarahemla

We stayed in the cabins (not heated).  Went on a two mile hike at 9:45 PM (vertical terrain).  For service, we stacked firewood.  Talked about taking the cover off our tools.  EDGE method for Bowline rescue knot.  

 

 

Cycling Merit Badge

Congrats Easton!!!  I think you are the first to get the Cycling Merit Badge from our troop.  I'm hoping the rest of your troop will complete it soon!  :)

September Backpacking - Deep Creek

The troop backpacked into a secluded location and setup tents and hammocks to spend the night.  Some completed the remaining requirements to earn their cooking merit badge.  We even saw the northern lights while sitting around the campfire.
